For Autel device, except MS906CV, all 808 series, 900 series, 906 series, 908 series and Ultra series model can support Active test / Bi-directional control.
For OTOFIX device, all model can support Active test / Bi-directional control.
Note: for model details, please refer to the model table of 1st part of 1st section of this FAQ.
- What model can support ECU online programming?
For Autel device, Ultra S2, MS919 S2, MS909 S2, Ultra EV, Ultra, Ultra Lite, Ultra Lite S, MS919, MS909, MS909 EV, Elite II, Elite II Pro, Elite, MS908S Pro II, MK908 Pro II, MS908S Pro, MS908 Pro and MK908 Pro can support ECU online programming.
For OTOFIX device, only EvoScan Ultral and a certain Taiwan customizable D1 MAX can support ECU online programming.
- What model can support ECU online coding?
For Autel device, all Ultra series, DS900, DS900 BT, DS900 TS, MP900, MP900 BT, MP900 TS, 908 series and 906 series model except MS906, MS906S and MS906CV can support ECU online coding.
For OTOFIX device, D1, D1 Pro, D1 Plus, D1 Max, D1 ProS, D1 ProS2, D1 Max2 and EvoScan Ultra can support ECU online coding.
- What model can support 24V vehicle?
Normally, MS909CV, MS908CV,MS908CV II and MS906CV can support 24V vehicle.
- About sale Price/Fee
- What is the price of XX model?
Sorry that as Autel Headquarter in China do not provide retail directly, we do not have specific price, so it is suggested to contact Autel/OTOFIX authorized dealer for price details.
- What is the annual subscription renewal fee of XX model?
Please provide device serial number for Autel tech support to check annual subscription.
- What model can download software for lifelong free?
All hand-held series model, AP2500, AP2500E, AP200 and HT200 model can download software for lifelong free.
Note: Diaglink can only download 1 vehicle software for lifelong free, for more vehicle software, it needs to purchase firstly to download software for lifelong free.
AP2500, AP2500E,AP200 and HT200 device can also only download 1 vehicle software for lifelong free, and it needs purchase for more vehicle software, and after purchase, the vehicle is only valid for 1 year.

- About Warranty Policy
- How long is the warranty period for Autel/OTOFIX device?
Different area may have different warranty periods.
All Autel/OTOFIX products purchased from official European distributors provide with the European warranty: 24-Month Limited Warranty
Other area: 12-Month Limited Warranty
- Is repair of device under warranty free of charge?
If under warranty, your Autel/OTOFIX tool will be repaired or replaced free of charge unless damaged (including but not limited to a cracked screen, broken case, chemical exposure or liquid damage) to accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions or unauthorized disassembly, repair or modification. If the repaired unit is out of warranty, the customer will be contacted and will be responsible for the repair fee.
- What damage will warranty policy not apply to?
This warranty does not apply to:
- Products subjected to abnormal use or conditions, accident, mishandling, neglect, unauthorized alteration, misuse, improper installation or repair or improper storage;
- Products whose mechanical serial number or electronic serial number has been removed, altered or defaced;
- Damage from exposure to excessive temperatures or extreme environmental conditions;
- Damage resulting from connection to, or use of any accessory or other product not approved or authorized by the Company;
- Defects in appearance, cosmetic, decorative or structural items such as framing and non-operative parts.
- Products damaged from external causes such as fire, dirt, sand, battery leakage, blown fuse, theft or improper usage of any electrical source.

- What model needs registering on APP and can’t be registered on Autel/OTOFIX official website?
AP2500/AP2500E(only available for certain region), AP200, HT200, AP200C, AP200M, AP200H
- How to create an Autel ID?
Registering on Autel/OTOFIX official website:
- Visit the website https://pro.autel.com/ or http://pro.otofixtech.com/
If you are a new member of Autel, please click Register to create an ID.
Enter the required information in the input fields.
Note: Please select your country correctly, as once the country is selected, it cannot be modified.
- Click the Request button to get an email verification code and SMS verification code.
- The online system will automatically send a verification code to the registered email address or phone number.
Note: email must be enter here, while phone number is optional
- Check your email to get the verification code. Input the code in the Verification Code field and complete other required fields.
Note: If you cannot find verification code, please make sure to check the SPAM.
- Read through User Service Agreement and Privacy Policy, then check and select the option, and then click select the and click Register.
When it shows Registered Successfully, it means an Autel ID has been created.
Register on tablet device:
- For device that has not registered, there will be a pop up window as below picture shows to remind customer to register the device when device is start or when customer tap Update icon.
- Tap Link button on the pop up window
- Enter the required information in the input fields.
Note: Please select your country correctly, as once the country is selected, it cannot be modified.
- Click the Request button to get an email verification code and SMS verification code.
- The online system will automatically send a verification code to the registered email address or phone number.
Note: email must be entered here, while phone number is optional
- Check your email to get the verification code. Input the code in the Verification Code field and complete other required fields.
Note: If you cannot find verification code, please make sure to check the SPAM.
- Read through User Service Agreement and Privacy Policy, then check and select the option, and then click select the and click
Register.
A new Autel ID is registered successfully when device shows below page.
- What if login password of Autel ID was forgot?
- Visit the website https://pro.autel.com/ or http://pro.otofixtech.com/
- Or Visit https://www.autel.com/ click Log In
- Click Forgot Password.
- Enter the Autel ID then hit Request button, then a verification code will be automatically sent to the registered email address or phone number.
- Check your email or phone to get the verification code. Input the code in the Verification Code field and complete other required fields, after that click Submit to reset a new password.
- Note: If you cannot find verification code, please make sure to check the SPAM.
- How to reset the login password of Autel ID?
- Click at Reset Password. Then input the current password and your new aimed password. Then click at Reset button.
- How to register handheld and tablet series device?
Register device on the official website:
Go to "Product Registration" and enter device serial number and registration password, then click Submit button.- Register on tool itself (it is only available for table)
- For device that has not registered, there will be a pop up window as below picture shows to remind customer to register the device when device is start or when customer tap Update icon.
- Tap Link button on the pop up window.
- Enter the Autel ID and password, then tap Log In button.
Note: If you have not have an Autel ID, tap Register button and enter information as it is required, or refer to the d) part of Autel ID creating part.

- How to register APP series device?
- Search for AP2500/AP2500E(only available for certain region), MaxiAP200/HT200/AP200C/ AP200M, AP200H app in Google Play or App Store to download and install the app to your device.
- Open the app, enter the Autel ID and password, and tap Log In.
- Note: If you do not have an Autel ID yet, please tap Register and follow the on-screen instructions to register one.
Scan the QR code on the APP series Bluetooth dongle to put in the serial number or tap Connect VCI to read serial number, and plug the APP series Bluetooth dongle to vehicle to read the serial number, then tap Bind option.
- How to change Autel ID?
Please provide the serial number to support@autel.com and advise which Autel ID you would like to change the device to.
Note: please make sure the email address is already registered as an Autel ID before sending to support@autel.com.

- How to check serial number of the device?
Please go to MaxiSys/MaxiCom/OTOFIX-- Settings-- About--Serial number to check serial number, or you can check it under the barcode on the back of device.
- How to check registration password?
Please go to MaxiSys/MaxiCom/OTOFIX-- Settings-- About--Password to check the registration password.
- How to check Autel ID on device?
Please go to MaxiSys/MaxiCom/OTOFIX -- Support-- My Account-- Personal info to check the Autel ID, or you can tap Update icon, and check it on the top of the interface.
- How to check update expired date?
Please go to MaxiSys/MaxiCom/OTOFIX----Support----My Account---- Personal info to check the Autel ID, or you can tap Update icon, and check it on the top of the interface.
- How to check System program version information?

Please connect the VCI to Autel/OTOFIX tablet device, then go to MaxiSys/MaxiCom/OTOFIX----Settings----About----VCI Firmware to check VCI firmware version information.

- Connect the MaxiFlash VCI to computer with USB cable.
- Start the Maxi PC Suite click Installed to check the VCI firmware and OS version.
- How to check vehicle software version?
Please go to MaxiSys/MaxiCom/OTOFIX----Diagnostic----choose vehicle brand and the vehicle software version will be displayed in the upper left corner of device interface.
- How to check email or other app version information?
Please go to System settings----Apps, then tap email app or other app and the version information will show on under the app name on the top of device interface.

Please go to System settings----Storage to check the storage details.

- Can device download vehicle software before SystemProgram, OS or Libcomms?
No. It needs to download the OS (If available) firstly, then download the System Programs and LibComms (If available), only after that can the vehicle software be downloaded.
- How to renew subscription?
There are four ways to renew the subscription, customer can select one of the options to renew the subscription, of which please make sure network is good for all option except the 3rd one.
Tap the “Update” icon and click “Renew” on top right on tablet - Go to the website https://pro.autel.com/ on a PC and log in with your Autel ID, then refer to payment instruction at the left-hand side and try.
- Contact seller dealer to buy update.
Step 1: Customer pay the subscription cost to seller dealer.
Step 2: Seller dealer contact Autel sales department and pay the subscription cost.
Step 3: Autel helps add the subscription manually.
- Buy update card from dealers and then go to https://pro.autel.com/ and sign in with your Autel ID, then go to redeem and try.
Step 1: Purchase the TCP card from seller dealer.

- How to cancel subscription order that has not been paid?
Log into Autel official website https://pro.autel.com/
Click My Orders and find the order that needs cancel, then click Delete button.
- What if Maxi PC suite shows “failed to update authorization info”?
In normal case if the SD card only has the read permission, it will show this error message. Please make sure your SD card has both read and write permission. You can go to computer and find the SD card, if you can set up a new file on the SD card, it means it has the write function. If can't, please check your computer settings or change another computer to check.
- What if the device does not have enough storage space?
Please try the following step for storage space problem:
- Please insert an SD card of 32GB or 64 GB. Please make sure the external SD card is formatted to FAT32 before inserting to the device. Then you can go to Data Manager----Vehicle Manager to move some vehicle software to the SD card, so that the device can have more internal storage space.
- If still further problem after that. Please try factory reset the device then connect it to network and go to Update to download all software to check again.
- Here is the directory: Settings---System settings---Reset---Factory data reset------Erase SD card---Reset.
Note: when downloading software, please download the software of largest size first, that is, the larger the software is, then earlier it should be download.
- What if device shows Network busy (#1) when updating?
Please try different networks and make sure the network is valid. If still further problem after that, please contact support@autel.com and provide serial number of the device.
- About Language
- What language can Autel/OTOFIX device support?
In general, Autel device can support Traditional Chinese, English, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, Polish, Swedish, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, French, Netherlands, Turkish, Arabic, Greek, Thai, Vietnamese, Hebrew.
Note: Some languages may only available for certain device or for device that is purchased from certain region. For more details, please contact support@autel.com and provide device serial number to check.
- How many languages can a device be authorized at one time?
Not more than two languages.
- How to change device language?
Please go to MaxiSys/MaxiCom/OTOFIX----Settings----Language to select the language.
Note: Only after the language is authorized that the language can work normally on the device.
- What if the device shows message “The current language is not authorized, please contact the dealer authorized?”?

- How to set up Gmail email account on tablet device?
There are two methods to log in Gmail account on tablet device.
Method 1: please take the following steps to set up the Gmail account:
Please start tablet device and tap Email icon on device home page. - Enter Email account, click Next.
Tap “SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE” and click Next.
Enter your password, then click Sign in.
Enter the verification code and click done.- Click Allow.
Set Inbox Checking frequency as “Every 5 minutes” and click Next.
Input your Name for your account:- Email account was set up successfully.
Method 2: Please take the following step to set up Gmail email:
Login your Gmail on PC/Laptop and click Setting icon.
Click “See all settings”
Click “Forwarding and POP/IMAP”.
Enable POP and IMAP, then click “Save changes’.

Go to Google to set “Security“ to enable ”Turn on access(not recommended)” option.- Then click the ‘email’ icon on Autel tablet and type in email address, password. Set incoming server and outgoing server as the following shows.

- How to set up Hotmail email account on tablet device?
- Go to outlook mail.com website and login the mail box on computer (register one first if you have no hotmail email before).
- After login to your email account, click Setting icon----Click Option---click Account----click POP and IMAP----Click POP----choose “ Allow/Yes”, choose “Allow device or app delete email sent from Outlook ”-- click ’Save’.
Start Email app on Autel/OTOFIX tablet device, and then enter Hotmail email ID and password to login.
Set incoming server and outgoing server.- Set outgoing server settings
Setup completed, please test email function.
- How to set up Yahoo email account on tablet device?
Register a Yahoo ID and login the email account on Yahoo.com from a PC. If you have already had a Yahoo email address, just login to your email account on Yahoo.com and click at Personal settings as below:

Make sure that “Allow apps that use less secure sign in” is enabled:- Start Autel/OTOFIX tablet device, access Email app and enter correct yahoo email address and password and login.
- What if it shows “username or password incorrect” error?

- Please check whether the account and password is entered correctly.
- If yes, please go to Settings-- App--Email, check the Email version, then contact support@autel.com and provide the app version information and serial number of device.

Run setup.exe to install Maxi PC link on computer, then an icon will appear in the toolbar on the bottom right of your PC screen.- To automatically print by a default printer, please select Auto Print in the PC Link application.
- Tap the Print button on your tablet device, then your tablet device will search for the printer that connects with the WiFi network that is selected in Step 1.
Tap OK button. A temporary document will be created and sent to the computer for printing.
Note: Please make sure the computer installed with the Printing Driver program is connected to a printer.
- How to print report via Wi-Fi on tablet device?
There are two methods:
Method1: The printer and the tablet are in the same local area network
Make sure the printer and tablet are on the same local area network.
Enter print page,- Click “Print this page” button, a pop-up box will pop up to select the printing method, select Print via Wi-Fi the first time to use it.
Click Print via Wi-Fi, click Agree, and the preview page will be displayed: You need to check the required items: License Agreement and Privacy Policy, and click Agree. (The printing plugin of Mopria Print Service app will be installed silently at this time).
After a while, the print preview interface will be loaded. You can switch the printer in the upper left corner to select the printer on the same local area network as your tablet, If an icon appears in the upper right corner, the connection is successful, then click Print.- You can also select Print via Wi-Fi as the default printing method in step iii, or directly set Print via Wi-Fi as the default printing method on the settings page, so that you can use this function later.
Method 2: Wi-Fi Direct printing, the tablet is connected to the local area network provided by the printer.
- Confirm that the printer has this function (here take HP printer as an example). This printing method is to connect to the local area network provided by the printer. After connection, the operation process is the same as that of option 1.
- Make sure the wireless network of the printer is turned on, as shown in the figure below
- Find Wi-Fi Direct in the printer network settings, as shown below
- Turn on the printer Wi-Fi Direct, as shown below
- Check the name of Wi-Fi Direct, as shown below
- Check the Wi-Fi Direct password. After the tablet device is connected, it will be in the same local area network as the printer. The operation process is the same as the one selected, and then this function can be used.

Note: please make sure the 808 series device is with Maxi UI version V3.40.00 or newer (Maxi UI version can be found by clicking at system settings---About tablet) to take the following steps:
Click at System settings at the Home page.
Then go to Security and select Screen Lock.
- Here select PIN as the sample Input the PIN code you want twice.
- Click on Next and you will see window as the below.
- It is highly recommended to check and make sure that scanner is connected to internet well and upload the screen lock password to Autel sever, so you can clear it when the screen lock password has been forgotten.
- If you do not want to upload the PIN code, please click at Cancel.
- If you click at OK button, the next page will pop up for you to enter your Autel ID.
- Input the Autel ID of this scanner and then click at Send code/Get code button.
Check your email and input the verification code, then click at Upload Service button.

- For device with a separate VCI:
Insert the VCI into the OBDII port, which is generally located under the vehicle dashboard.
Long press the Lock/Power button to power up the Diagnostic device. Ensure the Diagnostic Tablet has a charged battery or is connected to the DC power supply.
Pair up the diagnostic device with the VCI via Bluetooth to establish a communication link. NOTE: The Diagnostic Tablet and the VCI are configured to automatically synchronize with each other on first use, so there is no need to pair up.
When the VCI is properly connected to the vehicle and Diagnostic device, the VCI status button at the bottom bar on the screen displays a green BT icon. This indicates your Diagnostic device is ready to start vehicle diagnosis.
- For device with built-in VCI:
Insert the main cable into the OBDII port, which is generally located under the vehicle dashboard.
Long press the Lock/Power button to power up the Diagnostic device. Ensure the Diagnostic Tablet has a charged battery or is connected to the DC power supply.

- What if there is no vehicle software under Diagnostic menu after device language is changed?
Please make sure the device language has been authorized and all available software has been downloaded.
If the language is not authorized, please contact Autel tech support and provide serial number of device to check.
If available software cannot be downloaded and the tablet is still with active subscription, please take the following steps to make sure you can update all software: Go to System settings---Reset ---Factory data reset (check erase SD card)---Reset tablet to reset the device as below picture show, then go to Update to download all software again.
- What if 'Maxisys/MaxiCom/OTOFIX' APP crash?
Go to [Files---Internal_sd], or [ES File Explore---Internal storage], then select [scan—weblibs] and delete the files in weblibs, then restart the device. If still crash, once the problem occurred, please go to Maxi tool to collect a log to upload for further analyzing.
- What if the device shows not enough space when updating tablet device?
This may happen to 32G storage device, please insert an SD card (16-64G, format to FAT32) into the device card slot, then go to Data manager---Vehicle management to move the BMW, Benz etc. 6 software to the external SD card. Then go to Update to download the software again.
Note: please make sure device is with valid software subscription before deleting software.
- What if device shows“Library not found” when entering vehicle software?
If the device still in active update period, please go to [Files---Internal_sd], or [ES File Explore---Internal storage], then select [ Scan---vehicle] and select the corresponding vehicle software to delete, then go to Update to download the software again. If still have problem, please go to Maxitools to collect a data log and upload for analyzing.

Please check if the voltage on the top right of Autel/OTOFIX device interface is 0V. 0V means no communication with the whole vehicle, please check the connection between Autel/OTOFIX device and vehicle. And try to update the VCI firmware or change another VCI or main cable.
If the voltage is 12-13V, please read the vehicle through EOBD and upload a data log, then read through vehicle software and upload another data log for analyzing.

- What if device shows “the function is not supported”?
The function is not supported means the corresponding function is not supported by the vehicle and no device can perform the function.
- What if device shows “Linking Error” message when using OBDII software?
If ‘Linking error’ message appears on hand-held series devices, please check if the vehicle support OBDII or not, if the vehicle supports OBDII still have the message, please check the connection between the device and vehicle or change another OBDII cable.
- What if device shows “Network error code 10010”?
Error code 10010 means WIFI or Ethernet cable not connected, please double check the network connection.
- What if device shows “Network initialization failed? Please check the network! 10001”?
Error code 10001 means network or WIFI problem, please try to change another WIFI to double check.
- What if device shows “download failed, error code [10003]”?
Error code 10003 means download failed. Please try to change another WIFI, and make sure the device still in active update period. If still have problem, please upload a data log for analyzing.
- What if device shows “error code [10004]”?
Error code 10004 means the function is not supported.
- What if device shows “The network is error, please check network is fine, error code: [10007]?
Error code 10007 means some problem happened to Autel server. Please upload data log and contact Autel support at support@autel.com.

Error code 10009 means unknown error, please try to change another WiFi, if still the same, please upload a data log and contact Autel support at support@autel.com.
- What if device shows error code: [11001]?
Error code 11001 means the device has not been registered. Please register the device in following website:

- What if device shows “Download calibration file failed! Check the network please! error code: [11003]”?
Error code 11003 means the device update period expired. Please renew subscription firstly.

- What if device shows “Network error! Error code: 11205”?
Error code 11205 means non-exist seriel number/ wrong password/ device verification data failed. Please try to change another WiFi. If still the same, please upload a data log and contact Autel support at support@autel.com.
- About Authorization Issues
- Error Message “Software is not authorized!”
If copy software from other scanners, you may see the error message ‘Software is not authorized’, please log into the correct Autel ID to download software.
- “Authorization Check Failed! Error Code: 1”
Error code 1 means the authorization file not exist. Please try to delete the vehicle software and download again to get the authorization file (make sure the device in valid update period). If still have problem, please upload a Maxitools log for analyzing.
- “Authorization Check Failed! Error Code: 2”
Error code 2 means the SN and password does not match. Please provide the SN on back label, also provide the SN and Registration Password on Settings---About page and contact tech support at support@autel.com.
- “Authorization Check Failed! Error Code: 3”
Error code 3 means the selected language has not been authorized. Please provide the SN and language needed to support@autel.com to get authorization.
- “Authorization Check Failed! Error Code: 4”
Error code 4 means the wired LAN does not match. Please upload a Maxitools log and contact Autel support at support@autel.com.
- “Authorization Check Failed! Error Code: 5”
Error code 5 means wireless LAN does not match. Please check if all vehicle software has the same error message or only several vehicle brands has the problem. If only several brands have the problem, can uninstall the vehicle software and install again (make sure device in active update period). If all vehicle brands has same problem, please upload a Maxi tool for further analyzing.
- “Authorization Check Failed! Error Code: 7”
Error code 7 means the vehicle software version error. Please delete the vehicle software and download the software again (make sure device still in active update period). If still have problem, please upload a Maxitools log for further analyzing.
- “Authorization Check Failed! Error Code: 8”
Error code 8 means the Dynamic library size is incorrect. Please upload a Maxitools log and contact Autel support at support@autel.com.
- “Authorization Check Failed! Error Code: 9”
Error code 9 means the authorization file has not been generated. If the problem occurs after updating system program, please reoccur the problem and upload a Maxi too for analyzing. In normal case, if the device still in active update period, the problem will not exit, please keep the device in active update period.

Error code 10 means the authorization file is empty or with error and not able to decode. Please delete the vehicle software and download the software again (make sure device still in active update period). If still have problem, please upload a Maxitools log for further analyzing.

- When needs to upload MaxiTool Log?
If any problem with the APPs (except vehicle software) on Autel/OTOFIX devices, can reoccur problem and upload Maxi tool log.

After logging into Diagnostic or Service and have problem to read vehicles or perform any functions, can upload Data log for analyzing.

Firstly, please have the problem happened again, then go to MaxiTools---Log to click ‘Start’. Then go to ES file explorer---SD card---APP log to find the log file, then long press the log file name and click ‘more’ on the bottom right, and click ‘Compress’ , then send the compressed file to Autel support at support@autel.com.

Contact Autel support to arrange a remote control, and provide Team Viewer ID in Quick Support/Remote desk, also please provide your time zone and available time. When Autel support remote control the tablet, please stay on the Team Viewer page and click ‘Allow’.

- How to troubleshoot if the device cannot start?
If device cannot start (nothing shown on screen), please follow these steps:
- Charge device for 30 minutes to check if it is able to restart.
- Check if sleep indicator on device screen is flashing or not while restarting the device.
- If sleep indicator is flashing, please connect the device to a computer screen via HDMI to see if any scanner tablet images on computer screen. If with images, means tablet LCD screen with problem, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel to repair. If no images, means OS system or mainboard with problem.
- If sleep indicator is not flashing, just dead, it means battery, OS system or mainboard is with problem. Please try to flash this device to check if it’s OS system issue. If it still not works after the device is flashed, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel to repair.
- What if the device stuck on the Startup screen?
If device stuck on the Startup screen, please follow these steps:
- Restart the device first.
- Check if device’s software subscription is active, if it is, it needs to flash the device with format software package.
- If still not working after the device is flashed, it needs to check the mainboard. In this situation, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel for repair.
- How to troubleshoot if the device cannot connect WiFi?
If device cannot connect WiFi, please follow these steps:
- Restart the device first.
- Check if device’s software subscription is active, if it is, it needs to factory reset the device. If subscription is not active anymore, please remember not to select Erase SD card option.
- If still not working, please repeat the operation and when the problem appears again, please click on MaxiTools---Log—Start—Upload, after that, please connect the device to a PC, then manually get the log from your device and send to Autel tech support. The log directory is as follows: “PC\Maxisys XXX\Internal storage\sdcard\AppLog directory”. .
- How to troubleshoot if the device cannot connect Bluetooth?
If device cannot connect Bluetooth, please follow these steps:
- Restart the device first.
- Check if it’s the device issue or VCI issue: please try using a phone to search the device Bluetooth signal.
- If the tablet device Bluetooth signal cannot be searched by the phone. Please check if tablet software subscription is active, if it is, it needs to factory reset the device. if it is not active, please remember don’t select Erase SD card.
- If the VCI Bluetooth signal cannot be searched by phone, please update the VCI to the latest version then check again.
- If still not working, it needs to check device mainboard. In this situation, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel to repair.
- How to check if Touchscreen/TP Screen is defective?
If device touch screen not working (cannot touching) or keeps freezing, please follow these steps for troubleshoting:
- Restart the device first.
- Connect the device to a mouse via USB to check if mouse could control the devices or not.
- If yes, it means touch screen is with problem. In this situation, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel to repair.
- If not, it means system or mainboard is probably with problem. It needs to flash the device with un-format software package. If still cannot touch after device it is flashed, it means the mainboard is with problem. In this situation, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel to repair.
- How to check if LCD screen is defective?
If device screen shows abnormal, for example, there is lines or it is colorful, please follow these steps:
- Connect the device to a computer screen via HDMI to see if tablet images shows normal on computer screen (If the tablet don’t have HDMI port, please try to use USB to HDMI adapter).
- If normal, it means tablet LCD screen is with problem. In this situation, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel to repair.
- If abnormal, it means mainboard is probably with problem. In this situation, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel to repair.
- How to check if battery is defective?
If device battery drops too fast/ not charged, please follow these steps:
- Check if the voltage of battery is normally or not, (normally around 3.7-4.2V).
- If normal, it means tablet Mainboard is with problem. In this situation, please contact local dealer or local repair center and ssend the device to Autel to repair.
- If abnormal, it means battery is with problem. In this situation, please contact local dealer or local repair center and send the device to Autel to repair.
- How to Replace Touchscreen/TP Screen?
